You want to self publish with Switched On Publishing Services? Excellent!

We are aware that this is an important commitment and we want to honour your hard work. So, before you make the leap, have a think about why you are self-publishing and what you hope to achieve from the exercise. This will inform your decision on what package to plump for and any additional publishing services you may need.

Read through your options explained so you can familiarise yourself with what we offer and what self-publishing services you’d like to utilise.

Here’s a very basic step by step guide to how we work.

Step 1: You fill in our contact form.

Step 2: We get in touch with you by email and arrange a good time to talk. We then talk through details such as word count, book sizes, colour etc. And of course we can give you recommendations and advice on this.

Step 3: We provide you with a provisional quote that you can ponder over.

Step 4: We agree quote and confirm details. Then a contract and terms and conditions are issued with a schedule and an invoice.

Step 5 (Bronze and Silver package): We agree contract and timings, a non-refundable deposit is paid. You send over the manuscript and picture assets and we get to work.

Step 5 (Gold package): We agree contract and timings, a non-refundable deposit is paid. You send over the manuscript and we get to work. We liaise with you on the cover design.

Step 6: First proof is sent for revisions, you read it, send your comments back we correct.

Step 7 (Sliver and Bronze package): You pay the remainder of the invoice. Corrected, signed off, print-ready pdf is sent to you (Bronze). We send the book to print (Silver).

Step 8 (Gold package): Second proof is sent for revisions, you read it, send your comments back we correct.

Step 9 (Gold package): You pay the remainder of the invoice. We sign off the corrected proofs and get them to print!
